Republic Day
Republic Day is celebrated on 26th of January, every year. Republic Day is celebrated because on this day the Constitution of India came into force in 1950. Constitution means the Supreme law of the nation. It is celebrated everywhere in India. Every school organizes flag hoisting event on this day. Children come to school for the flag hoisting, attend the ceremony, and go back home with pride inside heart for the nation India. Schools arrange speech competitions, drama, and parades on this day. Students who participate in this event, they do practice many days before the event. On this day everyone remembers our freedom fighters, sing patriotic songs, and is overwhelmed with everything. We show respect towards the flag, our freedom and freedom fighters. But, after the day is over, we will find flags lying everywhere. Roads, city streets, school ground, and even the buildings garden.
